A lot of that started at my grandfather's cabin, where I found myself looking forward to every project - especially getting behind the wheel of his big Kubota tractor. I've always enjoyed working outside, figuring out how to solve a problem, and most of all, seeing the transformation from before to after.

That same passion followed me home when I bought a fixer-upper of my own. The work didn't stop at the front door. The property needed plenty of exterior work, from grading and drainage improvements to retaining walls, fencing, and cleaning up overgrown wooded areas to reclaim usable space. One project seemed to lead to another, and I quickly realized just how much I enjoyed improving properties.
